Message from Dr. Laurie

Dear Collegiate Families--

On Saturday, March 6, we held our annual lottery welcoming new students to our school for the 2021-22 school year.  We were fortunate to have Mr. Sokhary Chau, Lowell City Councilman, join us online to certify the results.  Please note: We have open seats in our high school.  Apply today.

As you know, our goal is to get as many students as possible onsite learning.  Please call the main office to add your student to the waitlist.  We will be contacting families as spots open and/or the guidelines are relaxed.

Although MCAS has been delayed, we are planning for it.  Students will be taking readiness exams (Grades 3-10) to determine how we can intervene as a school to prepare them after this year of learning, so that they will be able to do well when the MCAS does occur in late spring.

We were also relieved to hear that our teachers will be receiving the vaccination beginning this week, which is another step in the right direction of all our students returning to school.

As we begin this week with so much good news, we continue to be grateful for all of you and the support that you give every day.  We are a learning community that believes "learning never stops" and that our students are at the center of our work every day.
