School History

The Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is a tuition-free public charter school which provides an academically challenging program in a safe and structured environment.  The school opened its doors in 2013, originally serving students enrolled in Kindergarten through Grade 3.  The school serves students in Kindergarten through Grade 7 for the 2017-2018 academic year. Thereafter, an additional grade level will be added each year until the school has a full K-12 program. CCSL is a member of the global SABIS® Network that has an active presence in 20 countries on five continents and educates over 70,000 students.

The Collegiate Charter School of Lowell will be recognized as a provider of top quality education to a highly diverse student body. It will prepare students for success in college, equip them with the ability and desire for lifelong learning, and strengthen their civic, ethical, and moral values. The Collegiate Charter School of Lowell will maintain high standards of efficiency and accountability throughout its operation.
